*IMPORTANT* Please read! These bundles are cut from VINTAGE fabrics. Some of these fabrics are several decades old. They have ALL been pre-washed in hot water. It is very important to note that vintage fabrics are not going to look and feel like brand new fabrics. They have quirks and imperfections, and this should be acknowledged prior to purchasing. If you think any of these things may bother you, please do not purchase. I want you to be happy with your bundle of fabrics, and that means knowing what to expect when purchasing vintage items. I will not include fabrics that have rips, tears, odors, stains, or holes. However, common "flaws" on these fabrics could potentially include color shifting from printing (which I actually love), minor pilling, slightly crooked prints, or faint faded lines from where the fabrics have been folded up and stored for many years. I cut all fabrics with a straight ruler, lined up from the selvage. If a print appears crooked, it is because it was printed that way decades ago. These fabrics are cotton, but some vary in thickness. They also vary in softness and stiffness. These are common attributes of old fabrics. The hand-drawn images are often quirky and unique, and this is why I love them so much. They're perfectly cheesy, and truly one-of-a-kind, out-of-print gems!
Please review the photos to get an idea of the potential print designs you may receive, along with the scale of the images on the fabrics. Some prints are fairly large, making them great candidates for bag panels (backed with interfacing, of course), while others are small--perfect for EPP! These fabrics have been washed, but will likely need a nice pressing. Some of them have been folded up and stored for decades, and will likely have stubborn wrinkles or folds. Use an iron on a cotton setting and do your best to press them out.
Measurements: A standard fat quarter measures in at 18x21 inches. The fat quarters in this specific bundle range from 18x20, 18x21, 18x22, and 18x28. This is because not all fabrics are the standard width. Some are larger, some are slightly smaller. Some of these vintage fabrics were quite wide, which offers you a wider fat quarter for the same price. (yay!)
What exactly is a "fat" quarter?: A fat quarter is a quarter yard of fabric, but is cut differently than a typical "quarter yard" of fabric. A standard yard of fabric cut into 4 pieces would yield longer strips that measure in around 9x42 inches. A fat quarter is where that same yard of fabric is cut into 4 rectangles that measure at approximately 18x21 inches. This gives you a rectangle-shaped piece of fabric that can be used in more ways than a longer, skinny strip of fabric. The amount of fabric in each is the same, they're just cut differently to give you more options in your creations. Fat quarter bundles are perfect for small projects, quilt blocks, or fussy-cutting for English Paper Piecing!

PACKAGING: All items (unless the shape or size of the item prevents me from doing so) will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and tied up with coordinating twine. It should arrive safely, looking its cutest, like a gift to you from you! (You deserve it!)
